About Scott Rader

I am an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department at the Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. I conduct research as well as teach undergraduate and graduate business students in the area of marketing and business communications.
I have over 15 years of corporate and entrepreneurial work experience in the areas of information technology, e-commerce product management and consulting. I have lived, worked, and conducted research in New York, Tennessee, Japan, Mexico, Cuba and Southeast Asia for firms including IBM, Prodigy, About.com and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
I teach and have taught undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of marketing principles, marketing communications, sales/salesforce management, global marketing strategy, marketing/business information systems, and integrated supply chain management. My research focuses on consumer experience and interaction with consumer technology products, particularly mobile technology devices, as well as corporate social responsibility and cross-cultural consumer behavior.
